| |  Stuck in chapter 2 after airship crash. Bug?
After having crashed in the airship, I you have to gather components so Oswald can repair the ship. I have all the compenents except for the thrym extract, which I cannot find anywhere. It is not there. Is this a bug? Has anyone else encountered this problem? Does this mean I have to start over?  Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

| | | There are several sources for it, starting with the creature itself, which attacks you in at least two different areas. I didn't note down where, but I would suggest wandering around outside.

I also couldn't find a second diamond, NOR the thrym extract. My solution: I had to bloody well start all over, albeit with exported characters to make the trek a little easier. This time through, I'll be keeping all the existing components I already had, as well as searching every store for diamonds and thrym extract. We'll see. |

After starting over again from the beginning, I was able to successfully gather ALL the components this time. However, one of the diamonds I had to buy from the small vendor outside orc fortress prior to the whole airship journey, as I knew there wouldn't be two of them to be found at that crash site. Only by doing that was I able to get the stuff together, then march on through the western pass. I'm not sure if that's what was intended for players to do, but it beats starting over every time. |

| | | It isn't. There are no less then four diamonds either on that map or on the glacier wall map (which you can indeed travel to before repairing the airship).
Likewise Oswald has thrym extract. You can also get LOTS of thrym extract by killing remorhaz in the glacier wall map.
You guys do realize the beetles that come into the airship steal items, right? If you kill them, the items will be on their corpse. If you don't, they'll be in the nest outside after you kill it. |

| | | Somewhere in that area--off the dead scout or from the werewolf in the northwest corner--you will find a stash of old, broken weapons and armour. That will be enough for the mending spell.
