spoiler requested for goblin horde lair!!

okay, whats goin on here. i am in the goblin horde lair and have gone through slaying everything, no biggy./ now, before i can go up the steps, there is a resetting trap, fireballs, that i cannot get past. i have the ward stone that i thought would get me past. i have a thief that cannot detect the trap. i cannot find it top disarm it. i have never even seen a trap with my thief. am i not seeing teh detect trap button? is it soemthing other than search? am i a complete idiot here? just wondering.

You need two ward stones to get up the steps; the black wardstone and the iron wardstone. Check all of the bodies for dropped loot; I think the black wardstone is on an orc in the southwest corner of the map and the iron wardstone is on a goblin in the middle-right.

I thought the iron one was on the task master?

It may be; I can't remember whose body I picked it up from. You need one of the wardstones to get up the steps and another to get into the bad guy's HQ building. If you can't get up the steps, you probably have the wrong one. Look for some more nogoodniks to kill and see if they have the wardstone. If you've killed them all, check the floor to see if it got dropped and you missed it.
