Shift-Casting Cure/Cause wounds

Hi!

I just read that my Good-Aligned Cleric should be able to use his Cure Light Wounds spell to cause damage to enemies...Something to do with "shift-casting"? Am I right, and if so, how do I go about this?

Thanks in advance,

You can convert a regular spell to a cure spell at the same LVL (if you're a good aligned cleric), but I don't think you can convert a cure spell to a cause wound spell... (well... certainly not with a good-aligned cleric). the single rule that I know that is conected to this is that if you cast healing spells on undead (with positive energy) it will hurt them, and vice versa.
I hope I helped...

Thanks, Wolf!

I tried that and it works, so I've substituted all the "Cure" spells with "Cause" versions, and holding SHIFT down while casting them turns them into Curative versions. Neat trick I must say!

Safe Travels...
