Severed Hand War Tower (spoilers)

How do you open the "green slime" gate?

I've killed Iyachtu Xvim, purified the waters of the Hand, and freed the slaves. I killed the guard by the gates, but can't get to the aerie at the top of the war tower. Who has the key?

The captain of the guard has it, hes at the top of the officer tower.

I am in the same situation here. Purified the water, freed the slaves, etc.

Pudu is NOT at the the top of the Officer's Tower - only the caretaker (whom I'd previously visited and spoken with) is there; his only response now is that he has to get ready for Pudu.

Have I messed up something somewhere?

Little further info -

Reading the forums I see something about a ritual quest from Riki. I had talked to her earlier, she said she was mourning for a dead friend and that was it - she wouldn't say anything more about it and she certainly didn't give me any quest. I've tried talking to her again and she just asks if there's something she can do for me and my only response is "no, nothing. farewell."

At this point, I will create the key, rather than replay this whole level again, if that is the only way to get past this problem.

Dude talk to the Riki the drow not the chick in the room >=) The drow who sells you stuff and tells you how to make the potion you know. Once you talk to her, that little freak Pudu will be there =)
