| obviously dex should be maxed, since it ties into ac, a lot of rogue skills & wpn finesse, plus most missle weapons.
int usually gets next consideration, it ties into both the search stat & your skill points. so i sink a few points in here.
if you really want to tank a higher con will give you the ability to take some punishment.
wis is important for will saves + any ranger castings
i usually start w/ strength around 10, more would be nice but not at the expense of dex & int. (usually raised w/ spells & items)
cha is easily the least important, lower it as much as you feel comfortable.
final stats look roughly like (used base human)
str 8-12
dex 18
con 12-14
int - 14-16
wis 8-10
cha 8-10

wpn focus small blades, dash, rapid shot (dash being imo the most important after wpn finesse) expertise is nice at higher levels
other things to consider, a barb level or two the quick con / str boost can help in combat if timed well.
