In the party I just started I have a GhostWise halfling druid and a StrongHeart Halfling Ranger(planning a few levels of rouge). My problem is weapons for the ranger. I just started, begging of chapter one, and I have him currently using the dagger I got from lord ulbreks(sp?) wife and a master work dagger. And before I choose another ability, should I keep the daggers or wait for better long swords later in the game? So the basic question is: Long Swords or Daggers?
