prisoners in Dragon's eye (spoilers?)

I just started Dragon's eye, and have just rescued the prisoners. One of them keeps trying to fight me though. He keeps turning invisible. How can I kill him? (or better yet, make him visible).

Also, should I tell the prisoners where to find weapons?

Thanks.

Holly

You can always summon a few monsters to stand there. He'll start to pound on them, then you can just go and rest up somewhere. When you come back his invisibility should have worn off.
Depending on what his protections are, some area of effect spells should do damage to him. Fireball, acid storms that sort of thing.
Cleric/mage/ sorceror spell 'Dispell invisible' (or something like that) might take out his invisibility also.

I think they severely lowered the range on the Invisibility Purge spell because I cast it several times and never got the mage (or his troll henchman) to turn visible. You can also initiate combat with the mage, run like hell back to the entrance of the cave, go outside, and rest. When you go back into the Dragon's Eye, the two will be visible.
