In one of the posts i saw that someone sed there were no npcs

im just wondering if this is true

and about the romance thing in bg2
i never figured out how to get it to work

There will be no NPC's , rather, you can create up to six party members to travel through the game.

The romances in BG2 occur after having a party member in your party for a time. just rememeber when you reply to any questions they ask you, not to tell them to shut up or anything just plain rude.....well, except for maybe Viconia, but still, don't get carried away.

Also, only Viconia, Jaheira, and Arie can be romanced by a male, and Anomen by a female. It is also race specifice, I think you have to be human or half elf. Not sure about elf, but you can't have a romance as say a dwarf.

Yes it is an Icewind Dale so no NPCs. I think that having NPCs as a party would be a better idea since they have their own personality and they bring color to gameplay but in Icewind Dale 2 no NPCs,sorry...as with the romance in BG2, for females it sucks. Anomen is ugly, annoying, self-loving and thinks waaaay too much about himself. Good thing I have my lovable boyfriend in real-life
