If you're speaking of Dragon's Eye, this one is a pain. Go through the "Fields of Slaughter Exit" (just below where you entered the area). You'll apparently end up right where you started - except you have to re-explore. This starts the Time Loop - you have to figure out how it started and what you need to do to prevent it from happening, by exploring and talking to everyone. Watch your journal - it will let you know when you've learned something vital. Save frequently here to save yourself headaches.
