Icewind Dale II changed??

What's happened with Icewind Dale II??
It seems that has been changed during implementation.
I'd read something some times ago about new kits and so on (even in this forum) and now the rules seems to have changed and also the posts of this forum have changed (very few now!).
Anybody knows what happened?

Well, IWD II will no longer use 2e D&D but strickly 3e D&D thus no kits. Check this thread to learn what happened.
