| |  i killed oria not once but twice and now im really stuck
I killed oria and then challenged her to break her staff and then I ran back to the game room to switch planes, killed her again and thought I was done. I went on finishing other parts of the temple but when i went to collect by letting nethaniel know that i had vanquished the priestesses I was not giving the speech option. The whole dungeon is cleared, no sign of a living threat, no saved games that i can retreat to and no thoughts as to what i should do. ??????????

| | | What does Nathanial say when you talk with him? Have you opened your map and made sure every room has been visited? Did you give Nathanial his Bag of Holding and Ring of the Ram?
You can save your Journal by opening it and pressing CTRL-S (current chapter) or CTRL-A (entire journal), you can post the current one here or send it to me and I'll look for anything that you might have missed. It will save it in the /mpsave folder in your ID2 directory.

| | | i never gave nethaniel the ring of the ram and ive tried since you told me but am not given the option, ive checked the map and all the rooms are cleared, nethaniel asks if i have made any progress and the only thing i can say is i havent killed all priestesses but i have destroyed the altar. |

<EDIT>And according from the journal I think you have not kill Lysara - she can be found in the dais room.

| | | Did you disable the anti-magic field that is surrunding Nathaniel? Did you talk with the Abishai before and after defeating Caged Fury?
Aside from making sure Lysara, Oria and Cathin are dead those are about the only other things that I can think of from your journal notes.
Are you using any cheats in your game? If you are and you use it to kill some major characters before you gain all of the necessary information then you can not proceed with the game.

| | | i am not using any cheats, i have killed lysara and she isnt comming back, i dont know why it doesnt show that in my journal, also there is a glitch in my game that i have just noticed. I kept getting xp everytime i went into the uppper level for freeing a prisoner. I went into the room with the dias and the little dwarf or gnome is stuck on the dias, he trys to run away but keeps getting pulled back. I bet this has something to do with it or at least is is a good indication that something is wrong. Well iam leaving my comp for a couple weeks as i am going to Denver so i wont be able to whine until i get back, thx for your guys help. |

| | Well judging from your reply seems like something is definately wrong with the game. If you have saved game before you enter Ice Temple you might want to reload and play it again. it's a painful thing yet I think this is the best bet.
here're something to keep in mind :
1. Squeeze all info from all char your party encounter. That also include the bad guys - make sure you got enough info before you make them kiss the floor 
2. Talk to Nathaniel often.
3. Make sure you return all his items.
4. Before you frag Oria make sure you banish Caged fury first. Gwen already give best details on banishing the Caged fury
