How to develop a Barbarian ??

Better to go for max strenght or max constitution ??

Half-Orc Barbarian

Stats at start:

20
10
20 - dalekeeper since I believe orcs should have a bonus to constitution as in 2E rules
12 - roleplaying a smart orc
10
6 - Introverted personality

max strength is better.

Max Str. That extra damage helps you on every attack, but the extra HP and fortitude save bonus only help once in a while.

That's what I'll do then thx for the replies. One more thing do you guys think he'll be adequate as the only tank in my group ??

Other members include

human Paladin1 Sorc XX
human Ranger1 Rouge XX if I can think of an adequate story for this guy
Human Druid XX Possibly monk levels added later in HoF
Dwarven Cleric of Tempus XX
Elven Bard XX for ranged support, singing, and diplomacy

I don't see a tank problem. Your other party members can tank too if necessary and later you'll also have summons for support.

Should be no problem. Just make sure you max the Con and Str (and Wis of course) on the Battleguard of Tempus.

Max Strength, Power Attack and a two-handed weapon is the killing instruments for a tank. Since you have a Battlguard as well, with free Axe-Focus, be sure to take Great-Sword. And with the druid to use Polearms you can utilize all the great weapons in the game.

Have fun, you crazy Orc!
