How do you get the Tears of suffering?

I talked to Jere Stoh in the Severed Hand
but i can't get the Tears of Suffering from him?
I have a Paladin with Charisma of 16 and diplomacy of 16
what am i doing wrong
the subject doesn't even come up

Talk to one of the other slaves on the first level. I forget which one exactly it is, but it's one of the named slaves that provides the tears (when in doubt, talk to them all).

When you talk to Jerre he'll mention "Thank Ilmater........." then there'll be option which will ask him if he's Ilmater follower. This will get you the tears If you didn't use the option you can always talk to him again and the option will be there
