Hook Horrors and Jellies

OK...defeated the black dragon and climbed down the rope into the first section of the Underdark (I believe that's where I'm at, at least).

Taking the northern passage, I am getting swarmed by Hook Horrors. I am unable to rest anywhere down here...any tactical advise? Also, what can I use to kill the jellies in the southern passage? They are immune to my swords and arrows..and even my one character who has a hammer. ??? Undefeatable jellies?

To rest, go back to the area where you defeated the dragon; it's safe there.

The best weapon against the jellies is fire, preferably of the area effect variety (ie-fireball). Do not use electricity as it will heal them. I think you also want to avoid using edged weapons against them because they will divide and attack you with double their number.
