Help in Dragon's eye!! Put Wyvern poison in all 4 wells but metal door won't open??!!

I got wyvern poison (finally!) and put it in 4 wells on 3rd level. However, metal door never opened??!! Help!!!!!!!!

Ok, I've found out the identity of the boy and already taken care of him. I've also previously placed a Wyvern stinger in each of the 4 wells, but the door still will not open. What am i doing wrong?

You have to hunt down and kill the "boy".

You already did that??

Yes, I already killed him. Maybe the problem is that I killed him, knowing his name and postion as High Priest, but hadn't had Nherro do to the research? Since the research was done I haven't tried the stingers again yet?

Hmm, sounds odd.

The door SHOULD open after placing a potion of wyvern poison in the 4(!) fresh water sinks and killing the "boy".

I don´t know if this is a known bug.

I had also put poison in 4 wells and "thought" I had killed the little boy in his serpent form. Actually, he escapes and u have to go back in his room and kill him and an Iron Golem. Good luck! Then the door will open!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then u get to face some loop nightmare after u go thru the door. All these so called puzzles really ruin what coulda been a fantastic game, IMHO. Why not add more game instead of stupid puzzles to extend game time?

Ok, last night I went back into the little boy's room, he wasn't there only the Golem, killed him. Put a Wyvern Stinger in each of the wells, still the door does not open. I think that I actually killed the boy the first go around, I know that I picked up some items from his body (3 total items, ring of protection +3; bracers +4, and I don't remember the other). I looked everywhere I could except the prayer room which I can't get back into. Any advice?
