"Heart of Darkness" mode? **edit....or was that Heart of Winter............who knows?

ok not sure if this is the right name for it, but after you beat the game you can supposedly play through a second time. This will provide Much harder monster encounters, and higher level magical items. If anyone can fill me in on the details that would be great, because so far this is all Hearsay.

Err... Hearth of Winter was the title of ID1 wasnt it?

Indeed Heart of Winter was the hardest level of Icewind Dale 1. It allowed you much tougher battles but better weapons etc.

Heart of Winter was an official add-on for IWD. Heart of Fury, included with the game, was a difficulty mode with HoW that made monsters much tougher.
