game unexpectidly quits without error msg

hello folks, i have this problem with icewind dale II. the game quits everytime when i am moving something in inventory, and doesnt say a word about it. no error message. it happens only when i am in inventory... the game runs good otherwise.

i tried to reinstall but it still happens. got ver.1 tho, so i will upgrade but still this wasnt happening when i had IDII ver.1 last time... and i played it to the end (some minor bugs occured tho but not this one).

anyone knows ho to solve this?

cheers,
Orinn

K, i fixed my prob, maybe this will fix yours too. I went to the windows start menu, and went into the Black Isle folder, to IWD2, then to the install/uninstall option. Then a pop up came up, asking if I wanted to modify, repair or remove the program. I chose repair, and it fixed the prob for me.

theCheat is right. You most likely just had a problem with your install. The repair option in the uninstall menu just re-installs the game. This is often the best fix for many game bugs.
