| |  Final Battle Won't End!
Okay, I go into the final battle and pretty much beat the snot out of everyone, sending Isair and Madae retreating to the pool, while I, seriously, have lost virtually no HP.
So I go and chase after them in the pool, full HP, and full buff spells still intact. Then I kill the Slayer Knights off and then start pounding on Isair and Madae some more. I get one down to "almost dead" and the other to "badly wouneded". Orrick the Grey is there and he just stands around and watches. Sometimes I even go up and talk to him. Isn't Orrick supposed to break in and talk about the Erethal Plane thing and then I'm supposed to get the heck out of the Severed Hand to end the game? What am I missing? I can only pound on Isair and Madae for so long before they land a cheap shot or two that starts killing my party.
PLEASE HELP me finsh this game!!!

| | | Have you finish most of the quests incl. tainting the pool water ? If you do I think something is wrong with yer IWD2, I've played around 5 times and never got that prob.

| | | Hmmm Check patch for game and install it, or reload and replay. I think those two is the last resorts now.

I am trying to get something to register. My fighter is using 3X double mace and my Barbarian is susing 3x double axe
I have 2 magic people on them and nothing has registered as a hit... they are full health.
So tell me you secret for getting as far as you have gotten... I even tried making the game easier just so I could end it... but the suckers won't take a hit.
Pool down... immortals down... no problem
Help
Did the patch resolve your problem? I have not applied the patch.

I had the patch installed when I was having my problems. I have since beaten the game, but I still don't know the cause of my problems, because I did the same thing when I beat the game.
My party members are all Level 16. I buffed them executioners eyes (a nice spell), recitation, defensive harmony, strength potions, luck potions, and other misc enhancements. The weapons I used were fairly typical, +3 to +5. I didn't use any magic on Isair or Madae, just brute force and endurance.
I'm by no means an expert, so I think that's about all the insight I can provide. Be sure to check the game feedback at the bottom of the screen, pause frequently to see which characters are hitting, what they're rolling, what the enemy is resistent to, etc.
