Fighter/Barbarians in heavy armor

Does a Barbarian wearing heavy armor lose his uncanny dodge ability or his increased movement, even if he is proficient in wearing heavy armor?

In 3e, they should, but I don't know if it was implemented in this game.

yes they will and they loose the speed bonus also!

btw. heavy armor is crappy in IWD2!
