Ahh, yes, ur right about Sunscorch and Sunbeam not being part of the sorcerer/wizard repertoire. So my drow monk of the order of Shar wouldn't be able to cast these spells in the first place.
However, I went back to the manual and see that Sunfire is in the sorcerer/wizard spell list. The description of the spell says that it can blind drows if they fail their Reflex save. So would my drow monk/sorcerer always be in danger of blindness if he casts Sunfire?

Sunbeam can only be cast by Druids and morninglords of Lathander if I am not mistaken so again not a problem for your drow monk/sorc as they can't cast it. |
