| I don't tink Dominate lets you get access to spells or other abilities that a controlled creature has. Charm Person does make the creature hostile to it's former friends, but you have limited control over the charmed creatures actions. It is treated like a friendly NPC for the most part, although you can select and direct it sometimes. Dire Charm gives you the ability to tell the creature what to attack and as far as I can see allows you the same amount of control as Dominate. Can you Dominate Person a non person monster like a troll etc? The spell description doesn't mention being limited to 'persons' although the name suggests it. |
