Cannot travel on world map

Hi, I'm running IWD2 on the latest patch. I'm having a problem regarding the world map.

I'm at Targos Palisade now, just finished fighting off the goblin invasion. After that, I talked to Shawford and he told me to see Ulbrec (or something like that) who lives in the town of Targos.

I exit Targos Palisade through the NW exit, which brings up the world map. The problem is, only Targos Palisade (where I currently am) is clickable. The other two areas, Targos and Targos Docks are not clickable. When I hover my pointer over those two, they do not light up and the cursor does not change to a pointing index finger. The only clickable area is Targos Palisade, which takes me nowhere.

Thus I'm stuck in Palisade . I have no idea why this is happening, can somebody help me please?

About your problem:
If I recall corectly you can't enter other parts of Targos from the world map. You njust used wrong exit, the correct exit to get back to the city from pallisade is in SE, just front of the building there.

Also, you can use the boy to travel faster. He is either at the gate of the pallisade (the gate leading to world map) or at the front of the building in SE...

I read something about the exit being to the SE of the Palisade when I googled for solutions to this problem, but I have searched for hours and there is absolutely no exit in the SE part of Palisade that I can find. At one point, I even thought that we were talking about different games.

Here is a map of Palisade. The red arrow represents the only exit I can find, which is in the NW part of the map.

Ohhh I got it to work now...

I just realized that, unlike Baldur's Gate, you can't just click on *any* point on the south edge of the screen to travel; you need to point your mouse at a specific point on the southern edge of the screen to make it turn into the travel cursor.

Thanks, if it weren't for you saying that exit is somewhere SE, I would never have spotted it!
