Barrow Wight Quest

I accidently killed the barrow wight before even finding the wandering village,result was never returned his gold drinking horn to him, now I have been given a quest to help him by the hunts man in the village. As I have already killed him does this mean I have to restart game or can i continue on anyway??
Please help

If I remember right, he actually respawns every day because he's been looking for it nearly 'forever'.

He'll finally disappear for good when you finish the quest.
