Unhappy Any way to play in Res below 800x600?

Does anybody know a way to modify ID2 so that you can play in the 600x400 (estimated) resolution? My PC is ancient and I was able to play BG, BG2, TOB, and ID in that lower resolution. It was still pretty fun, believe it or not. It's just that what I saw on my screen was basically only what I could see within the fog of war. IW2 doesn't have an obvious way to go to a lower resolution. Am I going to have to buy a new PC? I guess I need to get a new one but wasn't planning on getting a new one until after Christmas. I tried to turn down all the options but it kind of takes the fun out of playing that way; not to mention the game still runs really slowly. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!

I've just checked the configuration menu, and the lowest res offered is 800 x 600. You might try contacting BIS tech support. I'm sure they can offer you the best advice.
