In the COLD MARSHES MAP (frostrose, boulders, barbarians etc...), after moving the boulders and killing the wiverns, don't quit the map by the north exit, but go straight left after the boulders and try to click on the top of the left mountain (its hard to find a space but it's possible), your character will climb automatically and keep on going to the left ... left... left.. and you'll face the PURPLE YETI (no Humber hulk or other thing..).
But I must insist on the fact that the objects he drops sucks (but OK for Money and XP)

And what do you mean by the summon thing? I get better undeads or worsts?
AND FINALLY, ABOUT THE PURPLE YETI, yes I was high on weed (that was a good guess..  ) But I got this quest from another french Walkthrough & Forum and so it seems that it's only for the french version. I DIDN'T GET THE PURPLE UMBER HULK WHO replays an old advertising...(wich I don't know by the way sorry). At what time is he supposed to come out like that?

I have an unpatched English version. I followed this threads advice and I found the yeti. You don't hit alt straight away after the boulders, just try and walk left. If you move your cursor over the mountain, a walking symbol will appear. Keep walking and you will find him. Walk further and you find his hole. Just make sure you have some fire ready for him. |

You found the abominable purple yeti so it proves I was high on something but not totally stupid at the point of confusing a yeti with an humberhulk as some people suggested  ... Yalah!

I shall have to investigate further. I'm playing with the 2.01 version I think and completely unmodded.
How do I get the Triumphant Flamekiller? Does IWD2 have 'artifact items' like the Baldur's Gate series? Do I need HoF or some other mod installed? Please help!?

J | That is likely the HoF version of Flamekiller.

J | Unfortunately, the yeti skin is only normal. It would have actually made killing the yeti worthwhile if you could create special armour. |
