A Drow Monk's spell resistance?

Hey, all!

Been thinking about what race to make a monk, since, you know, monk's are the coolest classes ever, and am I right in thinking that a drow monk would be a spell resistant powerhouse?

At 13th level, a monk gets level plus 10 spell resistance and add that to a Drow's 11 plus level s.r. and you can have, for example, a 20th level Drow Monk with 30 + 31= 61% spell resistance!!!! That's amazing!!!

Does anyone know if this in fact correct? I heard J.E. Sawyer said s.r. would be "stacked", does this mean added together or merely the highest one is the score?

anyways stacked means to be that the 2 will be added together.

I know what "stacked" means but you know, in D&D, sometimes terminology has a life of its own, like THACO and BAB and stuff. For all I knew, "stacked" in D&D could mean "you put the seperate scores together and delete the lowest score" or something.

I'm still under the belief that "stacked" applies only to many of the female character's portraits!!!
