hey, did this happen with any body else?
when i did the fight with the snake woman, i was in the middle of the battle and she just died. also, i got 90 000 xp (only 25 000 last time)
uuhh??!?!
does anyone know why this happened? i'm felling a little confused

Were you playing on normal, insane or HOF?
I know some people who have *said* they destroyed her by using the Chromatic Orb spell...but to have her die all of a sudden...whoa...count your blessings on that one. My adventurers usually earn their keep on her, she always been a tough one.

| | Yxunomei is worth 180 000! xp in HoF mode. I can't think of anything that caused her death  . Did you checked to see if there was a message after she died?

| | | i had it on easiest level, not on hof mode or anything, but i did have the spike stones spell cast under her. i wonder if this did anything. last time i tried spike growth but that didn't work, but maybe spike stones does or something

| | This happened with me while battling Maiden Ilmadia. i cast cloudkil on the "path" south of you, where all the guiants come from. Suddenly Maiden Ilmadia also came from that direction (i had expected her to stay in the building.) and walked right into my cloudkill. She saved vs. Death, took 8 damage, and promptly died???  does anyone know why. It happened in normal mode, not HoF.

| | | Maiden Ilmadia dialogue is not crucial to the quest - she attacks you at the end of it anyway. If you attack any of the giants they all (including her) go aggressive. You might as well take advantage of this as opposed to getting ambushed.
Cloudkill insta-kills those with low HP. Once Ilmadia's HP are low enough (through successive cloudkill damage) it will kill her outright - and she ain't that tought to begin with. |
