@Invincible121 - I trust you did not delete the cache/data folders themselves...just the information they contained

If you uninstall the game - it will not delete your save folders. It may be worth backing them up just in case, but they will normally be left in your IWD folder btw - you are welcome with regards to the patches

i only deleted the stuff inside the data folder, there was nothing in the cache folder except the data folder.
i will try uninstalling and reinstalling later on today.

one day i will make it to lower dorns deep........one day............

it worked!!!

i uninstalled and then reintalled and now i can finally carryon with the game
