I JUST STARTED PLAYING ICW 1 AFTER BEATING POOL OF RADIANCE AND I BOUGHT THE GAME BUT IT CONTAINED NO MANULE I AM HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME PLAYING IS THERE A WEB SITE THAT I CAN GO TO GET DIRECTIOND ON HOW TO PLAY ,ONE PROBLEM I HAVE NOT FIGURED OUT IS I HAVE A FIGHTER /MAGE BOTH ARE LEVEL 2 BUT I CANT USE ANY OF MY SPELLS I HAVE MAGIC MISSLE MEMORIZED BUT CANT SEEM TO USE IT SAME FOR IDENTIFY ITEM SOME ONE PLEASE HELP

I would like to point out to you that using all caps is very annoying to most people and generally considered a rude way to type.

As to your questions, I can think of two reasons that your fighter/mage might not be able to cast spells, one is that he is wearing armor, the other that he has no spells memorized. To check if you have the spells memorized, open up your spell book. On the right page, there should be some empty boxes. Clicking on the spells on the left page will place them in these boxes. Sleeping will let you memorize these spells. After casting these spells, you will need to rest again.
