resetting quests

could anyone tell me how to reset quests? i've looked around a bit and can't find anything

What quest are you try to reset? Do you have HoW installed?

I screwed up and attacked larrel before I knew about the machine parts. Killed off his little helper. I have the parts, but he continues to attack me.

Yikes! This can't be fixed via the console. Zip up your savegame and e-mail it to me, and I'll see what I can do.
