Question regarding the divine spell, Spiritual Hammer

Does this spell works better with proficiency in Hammers? I have a Cleric in my party but she doesn't have any proficiency points in Hammers.

What does the desription say? If proficiency helps, it is mentioned. (Cfr. the 2nd lvl Druid spell Flame Blade.)

As far as I can remember, the description ends by saying that the hammer's damage is like that of a normal war hammer.

I'd say it doesn't need proficiency. Download Dalekeeper and check your THAC0 with and without the hammer cast, and with and without someone with proficiency?
