Proof my party

Hi I thought of the following party...

I like the classes but I wanted opinions on if it would do ok in the game!

Human Paladin (could be fighter or ranger too)
gnome fighter/thief (could be halfling)
Human fighter2/clericX (could be ranger too)
Half-Elf fighter/druid
Elf fighter/mage
Bard

I figured I got an ace fighter, a thief, a cleric, a druid, a mage...with all of those having some fighter in the mix. Then give bard songs to make them better fighters (assuming they aren't casting etc..)

Please make suggested improvements and specify whether its just an optimization or if you think my party literally couldn't complete the game!

That's a good mix in my opinion. If you have the Heart of Winter expansion, Bards get good around level 11 with their buff songs. Just make sure you're diversified for weapon choices but you should choose the long sword double proficiency for the Paladin. Everybody else can specialize in whatever proficiencies you feel are useful.

Sounds a lot like the type of party I generally take through IWD. I always like to have each of my party members with some element of fighter class.
In my experience a combination like this works very well.

Ranger7/ClericX is better. Gets level1 druid spells and extra APR.

Good suggestion I was reading threads and decided on multi-class ranger. If I jack up the difficulty I will level up enough to still fry undead.

So

Paladin
Ranger/Cleric multi
Fighter/Druid multi
Fighter/Thief multi gnome
Fighter9/Mage dual
Bard

The paladin's turn undead good enough if on Hof. I'm not sure what happens in normal/hard.

The Ranger/Cleric has Turn also right? Do they combine forces like in baldur's gate? (at least thats what I thought happened in BG...could be wrong)
