New 4-man party

Hello

I'm thinking about running through IWD & HOW again. I'm going for a 4-man party, because it's easier to manage, levels up faster and generally feels more "P&P".
So, my question is: what do you suggest? It's not from a power-perspective, since I consider myself experienced enough to be able to deal with most problems. I'm just lacking in inspiration for the moment.
One rule, however I want a druid in the party.
The last party was:
Fighter,
Ranger/Cleric,
Mage
Fighter/Thief, IIRC.
They were pretty solid.

Is a Fighter/Mage or a Fighter/Mage/Thief doable in IWD?

Thanks in advance for the advice .

Any multiclass in doable. There is no experience cap, instead there is a level cap of thirty. In case you didn't know, a multiclass Fighter/Mage/Thief can reach 30 in all classes and you CAN dual class at say level 27 or so and go to 30 with your other class.

For a party I'd suggest a:

Bard
Fighter dualed to Thief
Fighter dualed to Druid
and perhaps a Mage/Cleric combo.

The multiclass variants of characters two and three can only put two stars in weapons while these guys can put all five. Also, it's better to start as fighter and then dual because in the end you'll have more health.

So the Fighter-> Druid would be the tank then?
Hhmmm, I have to admit that it sounds nice. Perhaps I'm going for your suggestion, but with a F/M/T instead of F-> T. I'm just a big gishes fan.

Thanks!
