Ladder problem (possible spoiler)

After killing Pomab and his Chrystal Sentries my party had been unable to climb up the ladder and enter the next area.

At the end I had to use the Clua command MoveToArea, but I wonder: is there anyone else who had had this problem before?
(I have had the official patch installed, v. 106.)

Aubrey, this problem has cropped up here before. The latest patch should have fixed it.

Have you searched the forum?

I searched under the word "Ladder" and there was only one, title "Help" or something, which didn't help much.

The latest patch is supposed to have fixed this problem, but though I had had it installed I still couldn't get to the next level. It seemed rather weird to me, and I was wondering if there was something else for me to do I hadn't been aware of.
