IWD on Mac issues

Does anybody know if there is an updater patch for the Mac version of IWD? I was going to play with some of the cheat codes but I haven't found any update patches for the Mac platform. The game runs flawlessly so maybe they just didn't have as many bugs to fix for the Mac, or maybe they just didn't want to put the extra resources into fixing bugs on a relatively minor platform. At any rate, does anyone know if it's possible to do cheats on the Mac? The standard [control-tab] doesn't appear to work.

Ack! I forgot to SAVE the changed .ini file. Duh. Now the cheats work. Patches? We don't need no stinkin' patches!

That's because Macs are just so damn good!
Ive never had to run a patch, they dont make them because they dont need them, sure an update when it comes out, but I think that by the time most games are available for Macintosh they have already been tested, played on Windows and cleaned up so what we get is a refined version.
Macs can still use cheat codes (only needed to once when I got stuck) and I was able to use the additional merchants in Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn.
The downside is the wait for games... but I think its worth it.
Anyone know when Icewind Dale II or BG: Throne of Bhaal is due for Macs?
