Extreme difficulties with cheat console

Well I've went to atleast 8 different sites and they all give me different things to put to CreateItem. I've tried all 8 of them and none of them work. Here is the error it gives me.

Wrong Perimeters: Check perimeter list. Strings (?) must be in quotes. Make sure to enclose parameters in ( ) and seperate paramters with a comma.

I've done exactly that in 10 variations and the words parameters and strings confuse me. Please ease my frustration

I'm not a moderator on this community or message board, but if you read the forum rules you would know that asking about cheats, editors, hacks, etc is a no-no.

Personally, I'd much rather complete the game as the creators, developers, designers, etc intended. That means going thru the game honestly, while also seeking out ways to improve my performance within the rules. All cheating ever does is accomplish a hollow victory.

AFAIK, using the cheat console (is it CLUA?) isn't one of the things covered in the rules. It's not illegal or pirating the game.
CLUA's an in-game option too, so despite it being cheating it's not a hack.

Strings are simply words- so presumably the name of the item you're trying to create.

Where you say Perimeter do you mean Parameter?
I think those would be numbers.

I don't use CLUA though, so hopefully someone will be able to help you with that.
