Download patch for HoW problem

I'm trying to download patch1.41 for my HoW (UK version). The site keeps giving me message Authenticity Required and ask my log name and password, which I don't have (and can't find anything about it either). I've never faced this before from any other games by Interplay, including UKpatch for IWD. I have tried both GameBanshee link and Interplay's for the download, with the same result.

Any help will be welcomed.

Interplay started making its IWD players use Fileplanet for their downloads, including the IWD patches, HOW patches and Trials of the Luremaster expansion. You have to register with Fileplanet in order to download anything, and then they'll try and get you to pay extra so as not to wait in line for 30 minutes while you sit in a virtual queue. It really blows, but I think that's the only place to get the patches.
