Post Anyone play in HoF mode??

I played HoF mode right from the beginning just to see how hard it was.
Heck, my party was 6 fighters and I couldn't take a single goblin down in easthaven LOL!

Are there any advantages in playing the game at this difficulty?

The only advantage that I know of is you're supposed to level up faster.

I played heart of fury mode my first time through, and am playing it again now. It is extremely difficult in the earlier stages of the game (goblins, orc cave in particular), but I think the rewards are very worth it. the creatures give you an average of about 2000 more exp. each. Though it is hard, it is doable. you just need to adopt a different strategy for the first couple dungeons. this means guerilla tactics. hit and run. focus on one guy at a time until he is dead or injured and then run. repeat. By the time you get to kuldahar vale your characters should be leveled up significantly and the game gets much easier. to give you an idea of how powerful you characters get, and how early, in heart of fury mode...I am playing with 2 fighters right now that will dual later on. they are almost done clearing out the orc cave and are already at level 6. they will hit level 7 by the time they are done with the orcs. you can imagine how powerful your characters get in later dungeons.
