An Absence of Yxunomei (Spoilers)

While in the final stages of Dragon's Eye my role play-style party was simply being pummeled by Yxunomei and her minions, and the crew had to practice the better part of valor and retreat. After resting, however, Yxunomei seems to have vanished from the scene, stunting my game. After all, no dead demon, no Heartstone Gem.

I was unable to install the patch onto my game, but I'm wondering if this is even a bug at all. Is it just her wont to disappear if you rest after speaking to her?

Did you search the whole level for her ? She should reappear somewhere in the NW if you leave and reenter after starting the fight.
(In a patched game this doesn't happen since you can't retreat before killing her.)

Thanks for pointing out the obvious to me, Kmonster. I thought I had searched the expanse of the level, only to find her crouching in one of the antechambers. Excellent powers of observation of mine.
