anyone playing this game? I came across it for $5 on direct2drive last weekend. It's a pretty good game but I can't find any tips/suggestions on the main forum and can't seem to get past certain sections in the early going.
I have not played the game, but I heard that you pretty much have to play on easy on your first walkthrough.

Yeah, I tried average at first but I've been on easy. I am on campaign #6 but it's taking an average of 3 times through to survive. I can't seem to get enough funds to buy replacements and then have enough to get reserves. If I split up my forces to try to capture each village to get money/awards then I can't meet the timer requirement to succeed.. very frustrating..lol.
But the graphics are good and the game itself seems pretty good as well. My kids like to watch me play it.
