Which RPG subgenre do you prefer most?

I don't really know what to pick.Well definitely MMO(wannabe)RPGs are on the bottom of my list but i am not sure about action RPGs.Can Mass Effect be in the same category as Diablo???Mass effect had dialogs and skills that affected the plot and how you communicate with people and Diablo was hack & slash, hack & slash hack & slash.Of course Baldurs Gate is one of the best but i also love Fallout, is it in the traditional sub-genre? and what about Gothic(mostly Gothic 2) in what sub-genre is it ?Action?.Oblivion and Morrowind is considered to be an Action-RPG or a FPS-RPG?

Fallout and Fallout 2 falls in the Traditional RPG genre along side Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate 2.

Thanks but what about Gothic 1 & 2 i mean you cant possibly have it in the same category as Diablo but it also aint traditional.For me its just a great RPG i cant put it under any sub-genre.Is it really Action?

I'm divided between Tactical and Traditional RPG. In my opinion, the best RPG games are in these categories. but I'll stay with Traditional RPG because of the best RPG game ever: Baldur's Gate II :]

Although I can't say I don't like Diablo or Sacred my vote went to traditional RPGs - mainly because of my favorites Baldur's Gate II and Planescape: Torment. As far as tactical RPGs go, I've only tried the Temple of Elemental Evil so far, and I can't exactly say I enjoyed it much, though I was younger at the time. I don't play MMORPGs because they're too addictive.
