I haven't played many of the RPG-s listed, maybe three or four, but the Fallout series (more precisely Fallout 2, I never played F1, and BoS isn't so good as its predecessor, although it's still a good game) sticks up among them. And if the topic was "Your favourite video-game of all time" I'd vote for Fallout again.

Fallout series because they are the only games on the list that I still play.

Most likely for me, Might and Magic.

Ultima. If anyone ever asked me for the roundest and most exemplifying RPG I would respond with Ultima. Some of the musical sequences just make me swell with nostalgia.

Betrayal at Krondor. I spend a lot of time with my dad and an English to Dutch dictionary solving those riddle chests. I've never played any other computer game with my father, it was quality time.

Yes, it was great--but it wasn't a series. There were two other games produced along those same lines, but one was a piece of trash, Betrayal at Antara, so poorly conceived and written that it achieved almost legendary status on those points, alone. The other, Return to Krondor, played in many respects like a standard, unimaginative RPG of the period. Neither game was made by the original BaK team, who were fired directly after the title's original release (over argument's with Dynamix's then-Vice President regarding resources).

Well I be damned, I did not know those weren't of the same team. To be honest, even if those did count as a series, I never played any of the other titles. Heh, it is not the first time I make a mistake of this nature. I guess I should leave these polls up to the pros.
