Which 2008 RPG are you looking forward to the most?

There are actually quite a few games to look forward to this year, assuming none of them slip into 2009. The poll is limited to 10 options, so I had to leave off Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, NWN2: Mysteries of Westgate, and a few others.

Voted Dragon Ages knowing full well it's only a matter of time before the Fable fanboys overrun me

Age of Decadence. I'm not aware that The Broken Hourglass will show up in 2008, as JCompton hasn't commented on this.

Fable 2 for me, since I like Fable. Have to take a pass on the Witcher's Enhanced Edition as I already have the original game. Not going to vote for either Dragon Age or Mass Effect as I'm not a big fan of Bioware's games (even though I enjoyed playing both KOTOR 1 & 2).

As for Fallout 3, doubt I'll be looking forward to it. One over-hyped title is already more than enough for me (a.k.a. Bioshock).

Sacred two. Sacred one and underworld was the only D2 Clone to supersede D2. Sacred 2 I have high hopes and expectations for.

Fallout 3, but entirely due to the strength of the franchise itself than to confidence in the capabilities of Bethesda. A die hard fan can always dream, right?

I'd have to say the anticipation is almost as much a masochistic, dreadful anxiety waiting to see my worst fears made true and a long held treasure ravished by ineptitude as it is a genuine anticipation that maybe it will actually turn out to be pretty good. Its almost like watching a Hitchcock film; the suspense is killing me. Its also surprisingly hard to admit that I'm actually anticipating this. So much for vote of confidence.

Sacred 2 definately. I used to play the first one with my brother all the time. NWN2 MoW is another one I'm hoping for as well. Ossion Studios did an excellent job on their Darkness Over Daggerford module that was canceled as a premium mod for NWN (huge mistake on bioware's part or whoever is in charge of that stuff) so I have a feeling MoW is going to be pretty good.

I voted for Space Siege. There aren't enough sci-fi themed role-playing games out there. Plus, I liked what Gas-Powered Games did with Dungeon Siege 2 (I didn't care for the first one).

Age of Decadence, cause I think Fallout 3 will be too "DuhBlivion"-ified and Mass Effect I've already written off solely due to the level scaling.

Age of Decadence for me, but that doesn't mean that I'll be eying other games as well.

The other games seem to promise so much and never even deliver half of it and besides, Age of Decadence has a nice homely feel with a familiar interface and system from Fallout.

If I had to pick one, I'd say Dragon Age. Bioware has never made bad games. It promises to be a new grand RPG, but I'm a bit afraid they're going to simplify it too much...
I'll probably play all of those game mentioned in the poll.

I had a hard time deciding between Fable 2 and Fallout 3, but after 5 minutes I voted for Fable 2 because Fallout 3 may not even work on my computer

I voted Dragon Age because I had to pick one but I am also looking forward to Age of Decadence, The Broken Hourglass and Fable 2. Are all these games to be released in 2008???????

As I believe that Bioware make great games, having played their last three games, NWN, KOTOR and Jade Empire to completion on multiple occosions, i hope and i really do think that Mass Effect will be better on the PC, because KOTOR, on pc, much better, Jade empire on PC, much better, therefore Mass Effect on PC, much better. Although, if they implemented the combat system from JE in, which i love, it would make it cooler, or mod KOTOR, using JE, then you got a good game.
