What was the best RPG of 2008?

Fable 2

probably out of respect for Fable 1 (one of the best and original games ever) but Fable 2 wasn't that worse than fable 1 (except they cut out Witchwood, or at least the Arena/Rainforest part of it, Hookcoast, The Northern Wastes, Oakvale, they sunk it anyway, Bowerstone, but I guess thats "OldTown", cool armour, the Guild of Heroes, mostly, and above alll FISHING) but hopefully downloable content will fix all that... it's still funner than the others, brings back your sister from Fable 1 (I think) and SPOILER (highlight to read): they brought back Lady Grey though in a totaly creepy way...

Though Fallout 3 was much more expansive it just didn't feel as fun.

And does The Witcher even count I mean the new one barley has that much new stuff!!

And Rise of the Argunauts requires to much running arround but combat's fun!!

Why? Not like those games are epitomes of RPGs.
Of the three only The Witcher in my opinion demands any sort of respect, and thats more for the setting and "grayness" then the RPG elements as such.

I say Fallout 3, there are so many possibilities, in Fable 2 there are only 2, Good or Evil, and game's over.In Fallout there can Be Good, Evil, neutral, nothing, and others,you can play the game 11 times and still find new stuff and ppl to talk to Fallout 3 isnt just Oblivion with guns, its a whole new different game. The new V.A.T.S system is an example of it. Fallout 3 isnt an Rpg, it an AMAZING RPG
