Out of the games I've seen and played, I voted for Kings Bounty.
Fallout 3 is a joke, honestly it was the most retarded game I've ever played. Then I got out of the vault and it became the most retarded game I've ever played. On top of that, 20th level being max level? Pfft, get lost bethesda.
Fable 2, I didn't play but I've noticed that their are two major flaws that are the main reason I won't play it even if I did have the right console. One is that there are less combat and magic options than Fable 1, and two you have a pet that does a LOT of work for you taking the "fun" out of the fable genre (not that Fable 1 was anything fun to boot).
Mass Effect, haven't played it or seen it, but someone who I consider my twin despised it and that's good enough for me. I say twin because even though we're just friends and not biologically related, for the past 8 years we've agreed with each other on most pop culture issues.
Mount and Blade, not even worth divulging into. It was so bad I would actually invest time in finding or building a time machine just to get my 15 minutes back.
NWN2 Storm Of Zehir- I like the NWN 2 series and all its expansions, but I don't love it or think it's the best.
Rise of the Argonauts-

Sacred 2 Fallen Angel- It could have been a good game, it really could have. But when you have things like EA equivalent copy protection that only serves to frustrate the consumer and a focus in building the game in only one style of video cards (I'm talking of course about the overuse of PhysX from Nvidia in video games while ATI users get left in the dust), I couldn't say this is a good game. Plot, character option and otherwise the actual gameplay was fine, I just never got the chance to fully experience it due to the above.
Space Siege- Meh, kind of a lame game, but that was expected considering Dungeon Siege 1 and 2's only purpose was graphical amusement, not gaming.
The Witcher- This was a close second to fallout 3 in being the worst game ever. It had a decent plot but the combat system was outright annoying and pointless. Fallout 3 beat it in worst game because BOTH the plot and combat system was outright annoying and pointless.
Kings bounty was the only solid, completely glitch free, and entertaining game I've played this year. It wasn't the best game of all time but I'm judging the games on this poll based on gameplay functions, entertainment, and completeness. Kings bounty delivers all three of these, simple gameplay functions but with several challenges, entertainment for hours beyond hours, and despite it being a strategy game it does in fact have a plot and a solid one to boot. There are so many options for your character to have, for you to do in the game, it's insane. The only thing I would ask them to improve upon is the journal system, a little more in depth descriptions of the quests (but keep the "you have to find out where to go because we're not giving you a compass" feel to it).
