PC (xp) for me. I like the consoles, too. They have the unfotunate drawback of being to easy for me to toss against the wall. Seriously, though, I prefer the gameplay and adaptability of PC games.

I went with xbox/xbox360 because it was the first system that I actally got to play what I think of as a real RPG zelda on N64 does not count. It showed me the awsomness that is morrowind and KOTOR

PC (Win 9X/2K/XP)

I went with this because there's a lot of versatility in gaming that can happen on this sort of platform, a lot more than some systems. Sadly though, versatility hasn't happened yet in a LONG time.

Play D&D online, 3rd edition, 4th edition, or any pen and paper game.

Tell me about it...
Oddly enough I had this conversation on MSN not very long ago, and I commented that while I've always preferred games for the computer.. given the way things have been going, and continue to go, increasingly there is little difference between PC games and console games.. *sigh*

The only place I can see any real difference between the two types of platform is that PCs are still the primary vehicle for online gaming, and even that is beginning to change..

What's really sad is that the newest thing we've come up for PC gaming is 3 years old. The last innovative thing we've come up with was using the environment to your advantage against an enemy, and IIRC, that came out with Half Life 2 Episode 1.

There are just way too many classic console systems out there to list them all on such a poll. If your favorite platform is really the Atari 2600 (or any version of the Intellivision, the Magnavox Odyssey, the TRS-80, the Vectrex, the Colecovision, the Turbo Grafx 16, the Neo Geo, the Atari Jaguar, or anything in between), please choose "Other."

Morrowind is also playable on the PC. In fact, it is better on the PC, but that's just my opinion.
