I voted bladerunner because I love the setting of that movie. I believe any setting could work for an rpg, but it would be pretty nice with the good old futuristic style of Bladerunner!

I agree with Probo completely.

Actually currently playing a Bladerunner game at home...

It is more adventure/detective/shoot em up kind of game but yes it is very fun and very atmospheric.

The game is Westwood studios production. If you guys are having thoughts about whether it would work or not I suggest at least having a go at this original Bladerunner game.

I think something that is definately lacking in current RPG's is atmosphere and feeling like you are absorbed into the world you have decided on making a character in.

Bladerunner "ooozes" atmosphere...from the gritty environment to the tough characters to the iconic music.

It could be the first RPG that is both Sci-fi driven and detective driven...you could trade clues with other Bladerunners to track down a replicant or even spend some well earned chinyen to power up your stopping power when it comes to "retire" a replicant....

I think a lot of possibility.

I vote for bladerunner. The film follows a particular story quite closely and leaves unexplored much of the world in which it's set, which would hopefully allow for a game that can be quite imaginative instead of a game-of-the-film affair.

Seven Samurai. We haven't a good Western style RPG set in Japan since Throne of Darkness.

There are better but blade runner would be a fitting mmorpg but Indiana Jones however could play a perfect Single-Player RPG. Although I am willing to try all RPG's Good or Bad XD

Kurosawa's The Throne of Darkness, based on Macbeth, was turned into an RPG?

I think you're thinking Throne of Blood.

Unrelated. Throne of Darkness is a hack n slash, apparently.

i voted for Blade Runner, easy choice. But I would play all of them except for Rocky and Fight Club. I don't think either one would be a good game.

I'd like to add Firefly to that list. A great setting for a RPG (I'd love an MMO in that setting as well).

I said dollars trilogy, since, first of all, there arent really that many gun rpgs, second the movies kick ass and third wild west is also pretty unused in games.

Throne of Darkness is an action RPG from Sierra. It does not seem to be related to Kurosawa's film Throne of Blood.

I had to choose "The Matrix" because the thought of bending over backwards to dodge bullets, and fighting monster computers in an RPG sounded fun. Although, I more often prefer less retro RPGS, like Fable.

Since only one title can be voted for, I voted Bladerunner. But now it occurred to me that Godfather could make a brilliant RPG as well, if implemented by a talented team. Of course, there would be an element of FPS in the mix, but it'd be nice to see more role-playing stuff in it. As an idea: the player could take turns between characters when advancing the plot - first play the Don, then Sonny, then Michael and maybe even some scenes as consiglieri And if you were feeling evil, the cold, calculating Solozzo would there as well In the right hands this is awesome gaming material!

i vote for bladerunner for an rpg becouse its a very interesting setting very atmosferic and hunting a andriod(forgot the names hehehe) would be awesome like gather clues interviewing people while gathering experience so you can spot the androids faster ect. it would make of a very interesting game unless some greedy company gets its hands on it and end up doing a mess

so i vote for bladerunner
