How would you rate Mask of the Betrayer?

While the Neverwinter Nights 2 expansion has yet to be released in the US, it would be great to get some feedback from our European visitors. Vote away!

Have decided to start the NwN2 and carry that character over into the MotB expansion, so will be a while before I can vote here

(The manual was better though, does that count? )

Pretty good actually. Not the best by far, but way better than mediocre, I likes this game!

I've given it average.

AI problems persists.
Suffers from the "expansion pack" problem where it has to put in high powered items, and more items, while fighting harder and harder and more and more enemies.
Not many puzzles found, so been pretty straight forward now, and the quests seems easy enough to not cause much problems for anybody as well.

Has a much more roleplaying feel to it then the previous installment and then the NwN1 series, so that is a definite plus. It has good companions from what I've seen and explored. Good conversations and at least a measure of personality. But the showing of "influence" as a statistic I do not agree with.

However one new feature in the game (will not mention which, those who've played know) really annoys me, and I find it a terrible addition.
I know it is the story/plot, but it still annoys me to manage that as it is enforced upon me.

Masterpiece, it kind of has the same feel as BG2 and it has been too long since I've had anything like that.

The gameplay is good, though certain implementations make it frustrating at times. Gave it a high vote because of the brilliant storyline. Dark, sombre and brooding. Class act.
