| | | Based on Bethesda's teaser trailer, do you think Fallout 3 will be a worthy sequel? While the trailer doesn't reveal if the game will be third-person or turn-based, it at least gives us an idea of the art direction Bethesda is taking. So... does the trailer dispel any fears you had, strengthen your fears, or leave your opinion up in the air? |

| | | I'm still undecided as the trailer - as expected - showed absolutely nothing. The only positive thing was the voice over, at the end.
I do not trust Bethesda to make a Fallout game, moreso a game called Fallout based on what they did with Oblivion (past behaviour is best indicator for future), however - I'll be presently surprised if it isn't a stupidified action game masking with a RPG label. Oblivion with guns and mutants, is what I expect.
Fingers crossed, but I have do not expect them doing good. So ... undecided, but leaning towards "no".
At least until we see actual in-game footage. Then I'll happily eat crow if they surprise. |

| | Still undecided. I can't tell much from that teaser trailer. I'd wait for some in-game footage or a gameplay demonstration to see whether this game is worth looking forward to or not. Since E3 is just around the corner, let's hope that Bethseda will show some in-game footage.

| | | The trailer was everything I have come to expect of Bethsoft. The game will be no different in that regard.
**Sigh, my english lately. Don't think Bethsoft is up to any good..
Edit: On the bright side, we get to bicker about it for another eighteen months

| | | I've never played the Fallout series at all, but I will say that sequals and Bethesda just don't mix, as the Elder Scrolls series went with less and less quality afther the first game, I doubt this is any different. |

| | I think that the teaser at least tried to capture the atmosphere of the previous fallout games. I would be quite happy for bethesda to potray the game as 1st person as long as the atmosphere was kept true to the origional games.
At least it couldn't be any worse than BOS on the xbox!!!!!

Actually, they just sort of copied it and added a "War. War never changes." at the end to please some of us old Fallout fans. I voted for no. Looking at their track record, at Oblivion and at what they say, I simply can't force myself to expect anything good.

| | | How exactly can you base game expectations on a trailer?
The trailer is just a video. It's just meant to stir up hype and interests. It's marketing. There is absolutely nothing in the trailer that even hints at how the game will be. And nothing about the setting that we don't already know.

| Simple, you don't.
There's a lot to say for company ethics and the way they handled their passed games though. But that's been discussed a million times already and I can think of better ways to pass my time. Do a search. Don't expect to find many things about how nice and innovative a company Bethsoft really is.

| | As trailers go, it isn't bad, but I'm not exactly that optimistic, all things considered.
However, I suppose I'm somewhat willing to give them the benefit of the doubt until Fallout 3 is actually released... At which point I'll probably be just as happy I don't have the computer to run it

| | Heh, you could wait. Wait until you can download F3 from some abandonware site onto your cybernetic implant.
