IGN has cranked out a new article that profiles three characters and their respective skills in CD Projekt's The Witcher: Versus. Let's go with what we know best:

Witcher

Witchers are masters of the sword. They can fight with incredible speed, flooding the opponent with a hail of attacks (Cat style) or slower, striking more precise and stronger blows (Wolf style). They strengthen their combat skills with the magic of signs, which can protect the witcher or knock his enemies down. Magical potions are of use when they want to increase combat capabilities or heal their wounds.

• Igni Sign | The witcher's most basic magical attack with a simple but effective fire bolt.

• Quen Sign | The witcher's most simple, but effective, defense against magic.

• Marked Blow | Advanced fast attack faking a strong blow. If the opponent uses the wrong defense, it's a deadly strike.

• Parry | Thanks to his extensive training, a witcher can parry every fast attack, even ranged ones.

• Stab | Advanced attack in a Strong style that makes it impossible for the opponent to use a special attack in the next round.

• Pirouette | Advanced technique that protects from strong attacks and prepares the witcher for a counterstrike. If used properly, it increases power of Cat style in next round.

• Swallow Elixir | Extremely poisonous for humans, this elixir speeds up regeneration of the witcher's mutated body.

• Endurance | Increases overall endurance of the witcher's body, increasing his maximum health points.
